A Home From Home
Furniture and styling selection of a Spanish-English couple’s 1 bed in East Sussex. They wanted to bring a contemporary Mediterranean aesthetic to their home with minimal permanent changes to the property.
Tactile & natural materials were used throughout to create a calming space
The Mediterranean Touch
Although the base of the apartment was in a tonal palette, they wanted to add touches of blue to evoke the mediterranean colours of the coast. This was incorporated through the artwork selections and tableware along with accent soft furnishings. Touches of patinated brass and rattan were used throughout, alongside curtains of loose weave saffron linen that cast a gentle golden light through the bedroom windows — bringing a summer glow to the greyest day.
Furniture pieces included a height adjustable table by Santa Cole — a Barcelona based furniture and lighting company, to provide adaptability alongside style to this compact apartment.
